The 2007/08 season is almost upon us, and the AGM will be held at 6pm on 9th
September at the Esso Club in Hardley (Cadland Bar). Prior to the meeting
please can you ensure that the following forms are completed and returned to
me - paper copies will be sent to Club Secretaries next week. My contact
details are included on the forms.

The Club Representatives form must be returned to me by 26th August, and you
can bring the completed Club Details form along to the AGM.

Time: 10.00am – 1.00pm
Cost: £12 per person

The coaching session will be run by qualified coaches and will cover court etiquette, serves and a range of specific grips and shots all relevant to the doubles game.

Places will initially be offered on a ‘first come first served’ basis. However, if over subscribed then it may be necessary to restrict this to a maximum of 5 members per club.

Entries are required by 1 June. Once your place is confirmed, payment will be due by 15 June.

Many congratulations to the Waterside team who won the Plate Competition.

They were knocked out by Portsmouth, who were the eventual winners, in the
1st round, but beat Basingstoke to win the Plate Competition. This is the
1st time that Waterside have won the Plate Competition, so this is great
news.

The team were:
Jacky Barron (TNT); Sarah Greene (TNT); Lisa Hancock (TNT); Paul Hoff
(Matchpoint); Matt Bunton (Matchpoint); Mike Newton Woof (Matchpoint).

New Forest Hotel, Ashurst on Thursday 3rd May 2007.
